Probiotics

Probiotics keep our digestive system healthy which in turn plays an important role in keeping a strong immune system. Many argue that probiotics are mostly found in yogurt and other dairy products. Luckily for us vegans the alternative sources of probiotics are actually more effective! Sauerkraut for example is packed with lactobasilus and bifidus (basically it is better than yogurt!).

3 tablespoons of sauerkraut a day and you can bet your immune system will handle this winter with ease!
